Resumod's idea germinated in April 2018 when we noticed job-seeker frustration at shelling out premium amounts for getting their resumes updated.
Indian professional market, like most developing economies, has a social divide where senior professionals earn decent pays while job seekers from small towns, who are starting their career, just make ends meet. With Resumod we wanted to bring all professionals at the same level before they set out to compete – by giving everyone a tool set (our resume builder) to create a resume that gets them relevant attention.
Your resume is your first introduction to any employer and it takes seconds to figure out where you come from (academically) by looking at your resume. With a modern, smart resume a job seeker can easily get recruiter attention and open doors of opportunities that otherwise would be closed.
In January 2019, Resumod.in was born and launched to the public as a beta version. We tested it for 1 year before Covid-19 struck and made things miserable for everyone. During the 2 years since launch, Resumod got a lot of media attention and 30,000 users.
In June 2021, we relaunched Resumod (this time as resumod.co) with a brand new website and a new builder. Our more than 10 stylish formats today give you a fresh perspective on how your resume can be framed, as well as give you an EDGE in the job market.
As of 2022, we are getting close to 100 registrations daily and more than 300 downloads per day.
As days progress, we are building smarter features and enhancements into Resumod's platform to get more tools to job-seekers that can help them make the right career decisions.
